Mary inspired me to make some significant life changes in early 2008 via her “Rear Attitude Challenge”. As a busy executive, she provided me with tips on how to adapt her program to suit my time constraints and shared personal stories with me so I knew I was not alone. After working with a nutritionist and personal trainer, plus attending Mary’s classes when my schedule allowed, I lost over 60 pounds. Mary and I used to work at the same company years ago and although we didn’t work in the same department, we crossed paths many times. I bumped into Mary after not seeing her in 3 years at a Christmas party and my jaw literally hit the floor. Mary had transformed her pear shaped figure into that of a super model…trim, healthy and proportioned.
I asked what she was doing and she told me that after leaving the company, she followed her passion for developing people and her love of fitness and made it her business. She gave me her card and I posted it on my fridge. I myself had been on my own weight loss journey and lost 60 lbs when I ran into Mary. I told her I had at least another 60 to go to get to my goal and my biggest problem was that the weight was not coming off evenly - my pear shape was becoming more obvious!
A few months passed by since we met and I had only lost another 5 lbs which was annoying because I was working out harder than ever. Out of frustration headed straight for the fridge….not to binge as I would have in my old life, but to call Mary.
I’m only on week one of the Fit 2 Lead plan and I have busted my plateau and lost 2 lbs in just 1.5 days!!! The plan is tailor made for me and Mary has made herself available to answer all the questions I have.
